So there we go! A new experiment of the SNAK SUXX realm. I don’t know how well this will work, but considering the recent news, it can’t get much worse than this!
Basically I’m trying my own experiment of turning a standard blogging software into a band/fan site. I think it should work, however I am not convinced I’ve personally got the know-how to do it.
Therefore, who knows what we’ll turn up with!
It’s my goal this becomes an archive of SNAK memorabilia as the likelihood of new SNAK material will be… slim. To say the least.

S.N.A.K. & Señor Kasio at Smiling Buddha Bar on July 25, 2008
What happens when S.N.A.K. & Señor Kasio meet for the second time, this time at the ever popular hangout of Smiling Buddha Bar in Toronto, Canada. It’s one thing to share a stage on the same night. It’s quite another to share a stage at the exact same moment. Especially a stage that is quite obviously not big enough for both bands, even if they share overlapping member(s).
THEN, it’s one thing to have set bands up to play. And it’s quite another to just pick up instruments, and expect there to be enough musicians on stage to actually play a song. Haha. That, I think, is what made the night awesome.
And Happy Belated Birthdays to Tynur and Cousin Alex! We all celebrated their birthdays on this occasion, if anything else, as an excuse to get a bunch of people together and play music on stage.
P.S. Black shirt Wee Alex = S.N.A.K. White shirt Wee Alex = Señor Kasio, unless Wee Alex is on drums. Then I think it was Seabass, or just an answering to the call of “Who can play drums?!”

S.N.A.K. plays at The Rivoli on April 16, 2008
It’s spring time and that means it’s time for a new show!
The line up for the night included “The City” on at 9pm, S.N.A.K. on at 10pm and Señor Kasio on at 11pm. Seeing as how S.N.A.K. and Señor Kasio share a guitarist (Wee Alex) well… uh… I’m not sure what that would mean. Other than we all get to see Wee Alex play twice?
Anyways, The City were surprisingly cool & awesome & I was able to chase them down to give them a Big Rock Finish (www.bigrockfinish.com) button. S.N.A.K. obviously rocked, complete with a lot of very tired fans doing much sitting and not much standing and dancing, except Steve from the Kasio camp, who I’m convinced is on some sort of speed. My favourite may still be a higher than high lyrics sheet, or set list, or SOMETHING that was pasted way above Dave!’s head.
And to top off the night, when Señor Kasio was finishing off the night (which included some giant balls) Dave! and Tynur decided to accost said Kasio camp with much inappropriate groping and “adult touching.” Don’t think Steve wouldn’t get his own back. Mister S.N.A.K. monkey whom I’d never been formally introduced to, received his own inappropriateness at the hands, and other body parts of Steve himself!
Enough from me, check out the photos.
