So there we go! A new experiment of the SNAK SUXX realm. I don’t know how well this will work, but considering the recent news, it can’t get much worse than this!
Basically I’m trying my own experiment of turning a standard blogging software into a band/fan site. I think it should work, however I am not convinced I’ve personally got the know-how to do it.
Therefore, who knows what we’ll turn up with!
It’s my goal this becomes an archive of SNAK memorabilia as the likelihood of new SNAK material will be… slim. To say the least.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! Like S.N.A.K. have shows! And they’re real shows! At like… venues! And not just being figments of my imagination!!! With a living breathing drummer! And not just the guitarist and bassist pretending to be the drummer!! Can you not believe my excitement as I squee’ed in my chair this early on a newly appointed long weekend by the Ontario government?
Two shows have been listed so far, and are as follows:
-
S.N.A.K. plays at The Smiling Buddha Bar on February 22, 2008 (11:00pm – 2:00am)
961 College Street. Toronto, Ontario
-
S.N.A.K. plays at The Rivoli on April 16, 2008 (11:00pm – 2:00am)
334 Queen Street. Toronto, Ontario
In other news, S.N.A.K. seemingly have taken down their website, I’m praying it is in the hopes of revamping the site for a brand new year, new line-up… and because I’ve been teasing them since April 1, 2007 about how I like my own unofficial site better
They know I <3 them so it’s okay I kid. (I say this now, and will be utterlly confused as I’m refused entry to the above shows!) But it looks like a new site from the SNAK camp is on it’s way! Yay to websites!

Judging by the lack of updating, I seem to be hardly a fan. No truly, I am one. I finally will be uploading photos from the July show at Smiling Buddha that consisted of Dave!, Wee-one and Cousin Alex. Why these people don’t have normal names is beyond me. Apparently the “new drummer” is a figment of my imagination, as Wee-one has taken over drums, giving up the rock god guitar we have known to love.
Also this past September I ventured unknowingly into the depths of the secret lair of band-rehearsal-space, following a dinner of beer and veggie burgers… somehow ended up in Cherry Beach at SNAK’s rehearsal. We pretended I had my drumming audition, only I was far too shy to actually PLAY in front of anyone. Suxx to be me!
Enjoy the photos and secret video that have been uploaded!
